WRITING-INTENSIVE COURSE REQUIREMENT

All students must complete at least one upper-division course designated as "writing-intensive" with a grade of C (2.0) or better.

Courses that are writing-intensive will have a note in the Class Schedule Listing stating "This is a writing intensive course." While the intent is that the requirement be fulfilled within the major, a student may use a writing-intensive course in another discipline to fulfill the requirement if permitted by the department/school of his or her major.
