GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

All registration transactions will be completed using FlashFAST. Login to FlashLine from www.kent.edu and click on Student Tools to access FlashFAST.

REGISTRATION AND SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT FOR ALL EIGHT CAMPUSES OF KENT STATE UNIVERSITY IS AVAILABLE USING FlashFAST.   You must register and make payment of fees by published deadlines before you attend classes. Students who are not officially registered for a course by published University deadlines should not be attending classes and will not receive credit or a grade for the course.

• All students are assigned a priority preregistration time which determines when they may register for their classes. 
• Register for classes or adjust your schedule using FlashFAST during the following registration periods. Login to FlashLine and click on Student Tools to access FlashFAST.

• March 31 – July 29, 2008 (check entry schedules)
  24 hours a day, 7 days a week

 

• July 30, 2008 – Sept. 7, 2008 (no entry schedules for this period)
  24 hours a day, 7 days a week

*FlashFAST is not available:
Aug. 30, 2008

Students With The Following Conditions May Register After They Have Followed The Instructions Below:

• Students not enrolled at Kent State since Fall Semester 2007: Contact the registration office at the campus where you plan to enroll at least one week prior to the registration period to have your file checked before re-enrolling for Fall Semester 2008.

• Any student admitted for Spring Semester 2008 with an admission for one term only, such as transients: Students in this category should contact their admitting office for readmission information.

• Students who have been placed on registration hold: You will not be permitted to register for classes until the conditions of the hold are met.  Contact the office that placed the hold for information.

USING FLASHFAST

• Kent Campus incoming freshmen under 21 years of age, admitted for Fall Semester 2008: Kent Campus students will receive information regarding the PASS program from the Office of Admissions shortly after they are admitted. They will register with the assistance of the PASS program. Contact 330-672-2014 for information.
