CLASS AUDIT OPTION

An audited course is one in which you do not receive a grade. You are required to make full payment for an audit course. An audit course is not counted for enrollment certification purposes.

Students wishing to take coursework on an audit basis should go to FlashLine at www.kent.edu and click on the Student Tools tab to access FlashFAST to register for the course. 

• After registering for the course, students should choose the Audit option-No Credit Awarded from the Action pull-down list on the Add or Drop Classes page.

• If, after selecting Audit Option-No Credit Awarded, you no longer want to take a course as an audit course, you will have to drop the section and re-add it. Before you drop the section, please check to see if the section is closed; if it is, contact 330-672-3131 for assistance.
• Courses may not be added nor may credit/pass-fail/audit grade option or credit hour changes be done after the published deadline.

• The last day to select the audit option varies by semester. For deadline date information, please select a semester below:

  Spring Semester

  Summer Semester

  Fall Semester
